The Predator has already begun filming, and is putting the finishing touches on its casting. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Yvonne Strahovski will join the cast. They reported that she will play the ex-wife of Boyd Holbrook's character, and the mother of Jacob Tremblay's character.
Yvonne's role may indicate that there will be a large focus on a family dynamic in the new film. As Tremblay's character will reportedly play a large role in understanding Yautja culture, it remains to be seen how this family will be entangled in the hunt.
Strahovski is best known for her long running role as Sarah Walker in the Television series 'Chuck'. Her other television credits include 'Dexter' and 24: Live Another Day. Her film credits include 'I Frankenstein' as well as the animated film 'Batman: Bad Blood'.
Boyd Holbrook,Trevante Rhodes and Alfie Allen will star as ex-marines. Jacob Tremblay will play the son of Boyd Holbrook's character. Olivia Munn will play a scientist and Sterling K Brown will portray a government agent.
