SFX Magazine's latest issue went on sale today and inside contains a number of new movie stills from Dan Trachtenberg's upcoming Predator prequel and interviews with the director himself, cast and crew. One of the stills released give us a clear look at the film's new Feral Predator!

Dan Trachtenberg talks his approach with this Predator prequel - asserting that Prey is not a Predator origins movie, but simply another Predator story just set before the events of the 1987 original. Trachtenberg also touches on his approach with the new Predator design for this film and how he revised its proportions to be more anatomically correct:
The design for me, though incredible, functionally it’s always been very top-heavy. The head has always been so large to accommodate a person inside, especially when it was developed in the ’80s. This is now the most refined, most proportional head to body ratio that’s ever been. We actually were able to get the silhouette to be a little bit more anatomically correct. Frankly, it’s the smallest, slimmest, I think, of the Predators, though still a hulking alien creature.
The magazine is packed with some great content, more interviews and movie stills. You can purchase your own digital copy here!
