i think they would kill each other, but the predator would die last. they are just to hunt so im guessing they are better fighters

@ Subject 13... I like the idea of a Predator lose in a city. In a jungle some animal killing things is part and parcel... In a city there are no dangerous animals killing people. I would have like to have seen another movie involving Predators having a picnic in a large metropolis....

As long as the film is good, I don't care who produces it or directs it. :)

I thought Predator 2 was a good film. Sure, it wasn't the same as Predator, but it was still a good movie.

As far as Nimrod returning; the first question should be asked "Will there be another film?" I think we can say safely that this franchise is dead in the water. Not since the initial release of the last film, has there been a lot of discussion with a sequel. Rodriguez didn't really seem interested when they asked him recently. More like a "Meh, we'll see" sort of attitude. He's moved on. I think Fox has moved on as well what with studio head changes. I think they want to tread in new territory and leave behind old franchises. Look what happened with Prometheus. I enjoyed the film, but the original intent was it to be a true Alien prequel. Instead they opted to go a truly original path with just a hint of the Alien. Clever. But that's just a inkling of how much they really don't want to bother with either Alien or Predator. It sucks, but I think we've seen the last of Predator and/or Aliens.

Sometimes as a Producer, one may have a lot of input on the film. Keep in mind that his horrid screenplay was the template used by Michael Finch and Alex Litvak for their script. It kept the element of an off world hunting ground but that's about it really. And then there are times where a producer doesn't really do much outside of just ensuring the filming is on schedule. Then the name is attached to sell the film. A lot of directors do a presentation of films they didn't make. I.E. Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, Guillermo Del Toro, Peter Jackson, etc.

That scene was awesome; spine kicking around, very cool....

I agree with you cuponator3000, Predator 2 was a good movie. I think there are two reasons why Predator 2 was so poorly received. First, Predator was such a great film. When I first saw the movie I just said to myself, "wow, I have never seen anything like this!" The whole feel to the movie is one of suspense and curiosity. What was this thing in the jungle? Then we get to see what the thing is and for me it was like, "awesome, this creature is f###ing amazing." So the problem is, if you are going to make a second movie that follows Predator, how do you recapture that "wow" factor. Predator 2 was unable to deliver and thus a lot of fans were disappointed with it. The second reason why Predator 2 was poorly received was because Arnie was not in the film. Danny Glover is a great actor but the star of the time was Arnie and fans wanting to see more of him. This is only my opinion of course; there may be other people out there who have a better theory....

i just watched my predator again and decided that carl's death was a close second

i at least want to know the origin of the river ghost creatures. their heads remind me of the shape of the predator helmets and other than that, i just assume that they came from the same world or something

i have to go with predator, but predator 2 is so close to being the best it is ridiculous. i really love them both. predators was a good movie to watch every pnce in a while and has helped continue the series which is good

that seems like a concept for the alien creatures that were dropped on the planet like the human characters. it is ibviously much larger in this idea

i dont want more adventures on that planet, i want to see them get off and have it placed in space somehow

The Predator is a classic movie. One of Schwarzenegger's best; I think.

The Predators Graphic novelisation/comic has reference to what was actually taking place before being abducted and the start of Robert Rodriguez's movie. It also toys with ideas of what takes place after the movie; concerning Royce & Isabel.

I liked it! It was pretty cool, but yeah it was kinda short.

I have the original blu ray one. Sure it looks good, its just grainy.

So I exchanged it for the Ultimate Hunter Edition yesterday and watched it last night. I think it looks great, however I haven't seen the original blu-ray so I can't give a comparison. Whatever the other sites are complaining about are minimal when you're watching the film as opposed to comparing screen shots.

I've never heard of the Best Buy trade in, but sounds like a great feature for the company. But if the movie is in good quality, then who cares. I have the Blu Ray Predator and its very grainy.

I personally don't like it, I already know Nolands fate (splat). could work but I'd like to see them do something different.

I'm going to kill the mood here and say no. I saw him on tv the other night pushing his new book, and to be honest he's just way too old now. I haven't seen expendables 2 yet and I love his movies and his role in Predator, but he's just not the same now he's 65 years old. IDK maybe it's just the reality of seeing him back on tv and in film after all these years, you never no it could work but you definitely won't see him kicking predator arse like he did back in 87.

I think the Falconer was pretty tight, he seemed to still have some honor left in him. He could've just pulled an Indiana Jones on poor Hanzo and just shot him after he pulled out his sword.

I think the Berserker, he was already leading the party. I don't think Predators would follow a Predator that was weaker than them. Makes sense to me anyways.

Absolutely. Wasn't it recently confirmed that he'd have a role in the next one? Or was that Terminator 5? Either way, my answer is YES. Bringing Arnold back, even if for a cameo appearance would drive the fans crazy and rake in a lot of extra cash. Here's hoping our dreams become a reality!

People were complaining about the new one, saying that everybody looks like wax figures and some other weird things, it might depend on what kind of tv you have too (motion blur or not). I have a couple days to exchange it since I didn't open it yet. Theres some comparisons over at AVP galaxy but they all seem biased toward the original blu ray. I'm more familiar with the members over here and was looking for their opinions to help me make my decision. BTW I picked up Predator and Predator 2 for $5 each, Best Buy has a new trade in program where you bring in an old DVD and trade it for a $5 coupon toward a blu-ray, reg price is $9.99 so that makes these fairly cheap to obtain. Almost as good as when I was shopping at Walmart a few years back and ran across a DVD set with Pred 1, Pred 2 and AVP for $10 (Score!)

Yeah I heard the dame thing. Because the first attempt to make it Blu Ray sucked. I have the first Blu Ray release of it and it was really grainy. I can't say anything about the Hunter Edition because I don't have it, but it got really high positive reviews.

I am gonna say the falconer because in a way he has his own advantages.

That could work. Or maybe the Predators want Dutch because they heard about his handy work on earth and he gets dropped in at the same time as Noland. Then we can follow Noland's background story.... Two great warriors kicking the asses of the Predators. I had forgotten about Isabelle's recognition of the Predators and Dutch's legacy. Dutch, Noland and Isabelle..... Who knows. One thing I do know is that the sequel will be great.

Xeno Killer makes a good point, but even then.. I can't see Predators driving a car or motorcycle. Stick to the walking and flying! xD
