Shane Black's The Predator just recently released in China and instantly became the country's top film at the box office! Having been dethroned at the North American box office by Halloween (2018), it's nice to see The Predator gaining more traction in a new territory.
Local reports suggest The Predator cleared $19.5 million during its first weekend at the China box office, while studio estimates suggest the total being closer to $20.7 million.
Worldwide, The Predator has currently grossed over $149.1 million.
