Actor Jake Busey will star in Shane Black's upcoming Predator film The Predator and will play the son of his real-life father character Peter Keye from Predator 2. During a recent interview with Pop Culture Media, Busey explained that this new Predator movie will actually focus and explore the motives behind the Yautja as a collective species. The Yautja being the term associated with these intergalactic Alien hunters:
The Predator definitely falls in line with the original franchise in that it does focus on the technology that the Predators have. It focuses on what the goal of the Predators is, and what their modus operandi, and why they come to the planet, and that type of thing. It’s definitely in line with the original franchise.
It's reassuring to know that The Predator will still fall in line with what's been previously established but will exploring the Predator's goals demystify some of the aspects which make the Predator so unique? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
