The Shane Black directed Predator sequel continues to earn revenue at both the domestic and international box office. This post will help chronicle box office updates as The Predator continues its theatrical run.

Opening Weekend earnings: $24,632,284

Domestic earnings: $40,435,122

International earnings: $54,539,316

Total box office take: $94,974,438

UPDATE on September 23rd, 2018: The Predator saw a 76% decline in box office earnings on its second Friday in theaters according to Forbes.

For reference, Alien: Covenant cleared $36 million during its debut weekend lastbyear and the last Predator movie Predators, when adjusted for inflation, cleared about $29.7 million during its debut. Alien vs. Predator (2004) made roughly $38 million.

Currently The Predator has a fairly steep hill to climb if it plans to break even and an even steeper hill to climb if it hopes to be considered a successful investment.
