As More casting news has been revealed for Shane Black's Predator, we are also slowly learning more about the different character roles. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Sterling K. Brown is currently in talks to star in the film. They also released information regarding his role in the film:
If a deal is sealed, Brown will play a government agent who jails Holbrook’s ex-Marine character, but later needs his help with the Predators.
The Hollywood Reporter also continues to report the rumor that the film will be shot in the suburbs. Despite this, Shane Black has since denied that claim regarding the setting of the film. The Hollywood Reporter also claims that the film will feature multiple Predators, who will hunt the group.
Sterling K. Brown will star in the Marvel film 'Black Panther' next year. His film and television credits also include Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and 'Army Wives'. Most notably, he starred in 'The People vs OJ Simpson: An American Crime Story'.
20th Century Fox, Executive Producer Bill Bannerman and Producer John Davis will release Shane Black's The Predator February 9th, 2018. The movie will star Boyd Holbrook and Trevante Rhodes as Ex-Marines. Keegan-Michael Kay will also star. Olivia Munn will co-star in the film as a scientist.
