The web lit up this past week when the title for Shane Black's Predator 4 was revealed as The Predator. However, besides the newly announced title, we still don't know what the film's plot synopsis will entail, nor who will be starring in the film and when the movie will even hit theaters... until now.

I've received word that the Studio is planning to release The Predator, the fourth Predator film in the series, which takes place after the 1987 original starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, on June 12th, 2017.

Now, I will add that this information did not come from anyone at Fox, nor anyone directly linked to The Predator's production, so I encourage everyone reading this to treat this date as a RUMOR until further confirmation is released to support the claim.

However, if the date is accurate, that would mean The Predator would release on the 30th anniversary of John Mctiernan's original.
