Shane Black's Predator 4 officially titled The Predator will begin filming on Monday, February 20th and the director / co-star of the 1987 original has taken to Twitter to hype fans up for the commemoration. In addition to announcing the filming start date, Shane also reassured fans that The Predator would in fact be filmed and produced as an R-rated project - tweeting "And, just to be clear... PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed... a lot." Of course, we've known this since May, 2016 but not everyone is following this film as closely as we are.
The Predator is working under the production title Ollie while filming takes place in Vancouver, Canada and filming is expected to span 4 months (not necessarily all in Vancouver), ending in May, 2017. We encourage you to follow director Shane Black on Twitter, as well as our own Predator 4 Twitter account for official updates on next year's tent-pole sci-fi thriller!
The Predator will be unleashed on February 9th, 2018.
