The Disney corporation have officially settled their copyright lawsuit against plantifs Jim and John Thomas, the writers of the original film, over the rights to the Predator franchise! The settlement was acknowledged in a recent Los Angeles court document, as Reuters reports:

The dismissal follows a December notice that the parties had settled their claims over James and John Thomas' attempt to reclaim their share of Disney's rights in their screenplay.
This means Dan Trachtenberg's upcoming Predator film, titled PREY, can continue on as planned and also release on streaming platform Hulu as intended! This also means any other works or projects (like games, novels and comics) relating to the Predator franchise can continue as well!
Details of the settlement have not been divulged, including any compensation the Thomas brothers received as a result. If any new details surrounding the report surface, we'll be sure to update you!
