Although Shane Black's The Predator (Predator 4) is less than a year away, releasing next August, we have yet to receive any groundbreaking updates from Fox regarding its production. Marketing for the film has been relatively nonexistent, but is expected to pick up this winter in preparation for summer next year. In the absence of any legitimate news however, fans continue to provide artwork inspired by the Predator to help keep the hype for this film alive. Below are some works by a handful of talented Predator fans who have provided a unique take on the Yautja Hunter - emulating the "organically different" aesthetic Shane Black originally teased the new Predators would have in the upcoming film.
The first piece was created by the talented Valentin Demchenko with the second piece by Nikita Siemens. The last two, artists unknown but will update once we track them down!
Photos from The Predator set leaked a while back which confirmed many of the Predator's signature qualities would remain present with their subtle redesign. But the Predators witnessed in those set photos are apparently defectors of their own species who have sought refuge on Earth and are now working with Humanity, assuming the script leak earlier this year was true. This suggests to us that the other Predators not allied with mankind may feature a different "look". How different of an aesthetic we can expect is unknown, but we assume there will be some dramatic differences.
